Retombées positives de la prospection de Groupe Molior en Asie

Les représentants du Groupe Molior Andrée Duchaine et Michel Ouellette sont de retour de leur voyage de prospection en Asie. Les institutions muséales, écoles de formation en arts visuels et médiatiques, galeries, commissaires indépendants et artistes rencontrés ont exprimés un grand intérêt dans l'utilisation que font les artistes canadiens des nouvelles technologies.

Une destination s'est ajoutée à leur itinéraire durant leur voyage : la visite du Musée d'art Guangdong (Guangzhou), organisateur de la seconde triennale dans la ville de Guangzhou. Une proposition de résidence a été acheminée au Hong Kong Arts Centres Art School avec l'artiste Philomène Longpré.

Positive Outcomes for Groupe Molior's Visit in Asia

Representatives of Groupe Molior, Andrée Duchaine and Michel Ouellette, have returned from their trip to Asia. Their meetings with Museums, tertiary insitutions specialised in visual arts and communications, galleries, independent curators and artists proved successful. All these institutions expressed a huge interest in exhibiting Canadian artists who use new technologies as their medium.

A new destination was added to their itinerary during their trip, the visit to the Guangdong Museum of Art in Guangzhou city, who are the organisers of The Second Guangzhou Triennial. A prosposal for an artists residency was made to the Hong Kong Arts Centres Art School for Philomène Longpré.
